How it works

Report → Search → Match → Verify → Reunite. Here is exactly what happens at each stage.

  1. Step 1

    Report

Submit a lost or found report with a photo, location, date and identifying details.

  2. Step 2

    Search

Browse and filter every active report on campus — by category, location or date.

  3. Step 3

    Match

The portal scores found reports against your lost report and surfaces the best candidates.

  4. Step 4

    Verify

Submit a claim describing details only the true owner would know. The finder reviews it.

  5. Step 5

    Reunite

Once accepted, meet at a safe campus point and the item is marked returned.

Safety guidelines

  • Never share passwords, OTPs, bank details or private addresses with anyone on the portal.
  • Always verify ownership with unique details before handing over an item.
  • Meet in a public, well-lit campus location — the library desk or security office are ideal.
  • Hand valuables (wallets, phones, laptops) to campus security rather than keeping them.
  • Report suspicious claims or disputes to the campus administration through the portal admins.

What we show publicly

Item photos, descriptions, locations and the reporter's display name only. Email addresses, ID numbers and phone numbers are never published — contact happens through the portal or the campus desk.

Disputes

If two people claim the same item, the finder can request more information or flag the case. Portal admins review flagged reports and can pause a listing while the campus administration verifies ownership.
